Same night as sushi…Dodge Nemesis. In the parking lot on the way out.

August 31, 2009 at 3:07 pm (Chevy Camaro, Day to Day, Dodge Nemesis, Phone Camera, Pictures) (, , , , , , )

It’s new. It’s orange-y. It looks pretty cool, I guess. This is with the phone camera. I personally like the neon lights reflecting from above, but that’s just me.

Let’s do some sushi! And a little school news…

August 31, 2009 at 2:54 pm (Day to Day, Pictures, School News) (, , , , , , )

I need to post. You need a picture. Otherwise…too boring!

Monday: First quiz of the season. I’m not even going to drag it out. Success. Thank God! First is always the hardest because you never know how the teaching will reflect into the testing. As long as I continue to study the way that I did, I should be ok.

Tuesday…however…first Skills Test. Just the basics please, but that’s what can trip you up. Seems so simple, and yet…you freeze up in front of all that experience, feeling intimidated. And I really HATE feeling like that. So, practice the skills, learn the rationale, and do your best. My son says, “Mom, that’s all you can do. I know you’ll do the best you can.” Thanks Mason 🙂

(I think those little icons turn into the real thing…smiley face…that’s cool.)

Anyway, here’s some sushi. Mason went to the truck race and Stevie, the BF and I went for food. Stevie tried everything we ordered. And even liked it! Enjoy the picture, I got skills to do.

and found a ring! Nothing fancy, not expensive, I mean, possibly valuable, in that whole, save-your-soul kind of way.

It’s silver, with the words:

wrapped around. Of course there’s a pic. It’s on top of the fish tank. They think it’s food.

Well that didn’t last long

August 27, 2009 at 3:44 pm (Unusual, Web Lists) (, , , , , , )

UPDATE 8/31: That headline is psychic. I think the Wal-Mart site is already down. You can try it, but I think it’s over. Sorry!

Back from the deep, philosophical place I was at (with zero study time) and firmly re-planted in the place where I usually reside.

I apologize for my sense of humor.

Click here or to the right in the link column. People of Walmart.

It’s all that you think it is.

Day Quote. Tempus fugit

August 27, 2009 at 3:08 pm (Day Quote) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , )

I seem to be overly preoccupied with this subject lately. This is one of my favorite pieces of writing.

If it looks goofy it’s because I scanned it into the computer and cropped it so you could read it clearly.

Basically they take the word and use it in a sentence to enhance the meaning, or draw a picture illustrating the meaning or you can do both.  Stevie does these assignments with real flair and creativity and I love them! So I want to share them. She even has her own category, so check it out! Stevie’s Picture Dictionary
