Contrails
On a perfectly clear, blue, still, Tuesday afternoon sky, in September. Last Tuesday. The 24th. I told you I was a bit behind. I have never seen them criss cross so perfectly. I even got a close up. And now, on to October.
Classy All The Way
On the Port-A-Potty Express. This picture has many things that I like and am trying to include as new features and categories. Stuff On Trucks. Check. Driving To Work. Check. Random Images. Check. And it’s mostly blue. The color. I like pictures that have a lot of blue in them. Hence all the sky and clouds. But you know, they can’t all be sky and clouds. Of course I took this picture while driving on the highway to work. There was another truck exactly like this one right behind it. Full of the same cargo. I sort of got both in one shot but it doesn’t pack the same punch, I felt, as this one did. So there you go. I have to go to work but I wanted something new up here to jazz it up for Wednesday. Remember WOW Wednesday? Say it with me…WOW!
Dodge Challenger 17
Now this is bad when I can’t even keep up with my vehicle I don’t own and probably never will even though I want one really really badly but can’t afford it now and not ever in any near future time is ticking.
It’s blue and cool.
Even though I’d rather not say where I was on Sunday, the pictures speak for themselves.
…If you speak Goa’uld.
And if you know what the hell I am referring to, then I probably saw you on Sunday. Drop a line! Say hi. I know you aren’t doing anything else.
And if this is your car, I hope its ok that I’ve expanded your love to the greater universe, if they be, receiving the message…
“kalach shal tek!”

You really need to know what you are looking at here. And it's a blue car.

Kind of obvious. Blue car.

Once a sci-freak always a sci-freak. But check out the BLUE ride!
I just noticed that all my pictures are of blue vehicles. I don’t know if that is a preferable color for science fiction drivers or just a coincidence. There were other cars with other plates; A black, square, scion-y vehicle, also with a StarGate Vanity Plate, but it was driving away when we were taking pictures. My friend Beth, the one who lured me into this dark world, ALSO has a blue car. Now, I’m not saying anything one way or another, but that does seem mighty suspicious now…
These are with the phone camera. I did bring the real, broken, dropped camera too, and I might have something on there. I think I got mind-melded or something because I can’t remember. Ha. I kid. Don’t suck out my brain.
I better hit the sack. I have a full day of school and I have to practice giving enema’s! What will YOU be doing tomorrow?
“shal met!”
By the way, the BF and I both have silver cars.
Cruise Night Random Shot
Mostly because I liked the color of the car. It’s cool, but it’s not a Dodge (or a Chevy) More later!
My Lottery Dreams are not looking good
Obviously I am going to have to earn money the old fashioned way. Poo. My tickets are losers (although the Mega Millions rolled over again—170 million—that’s better!) And my dream for even $35,000 is looking shaky. First off, I don’t have 35 tickets to input. And second off, I didn’t know scratch-offs counted too! I actually threw away some of those. I still didn’t have 35, but I would have been closer! Oh well, I guess I better buy the rest of my books and get ready for school. It doesn’t look like there is going to be any way around it!
So it’s Sunday morning. The kids are STILL gone. I was hoping to have them yesterday, but the plans got changed to something more exciting and they are still on vacation! Lucky ducks! They start school Thursday, so I guess they should enjoy themselves while they have the time to play.
It’s a broiling 84° already. It’s been hot every day. In the 90’s. It feels hot, it looks hot, it just makes you tired. Today it’s actually windy. Hot, dry wind. Like oven breeze. I hope it blows all the leaves off my patio, then I can scratch, “sweep” off the list! I’m going to spare everyone the actual list of things I need to do (but know that I have a good, long one!) even though it’s my sister’s favorite part of this site (haha). In fact, I am going to her house today for a Pampered Chef party. She’s making chicken! Or something. I actually do want to go because I want to buy this amazing pitcher I just discovered. It has a mixer right inside it! I know I’m the only lady over 35 in America that probably didn’t know about this already, but I don’t look at a lot of catalogs.
I was going to say that I’ll take a picture of it and post it later, but I just realized that I probably won’t have it later. I think I have to wait for it. Hmm. Oh well, if they have one on display I’ll take that picture. In the meantime, please enjoy this picture of our new coffee maker!!
We had to. The other one was leaking. And this one has a timer and auto shut-off. We paid $30. Big spenders! AND we went white this time! To match my beautiful toaster I received for Mother’s Day from my son. It’s especially nice because it has a blue display, a color that I find particularly soothing when I see it in the middle of the night, glowing brightly and casting shadows in the kitchen.
If you are keeping count, this is the third coffee maker we have had since the BF moved in. He brought a lovely, large, coffee making machine, with him. Then we had the black one you saw in pictures. And now we have this beauty. That’s four years and three makers. That’s not too bad.
Here’s the pic:
Last Thursday Exercise, P.M. Version. Update Post!
We went back! We had to. After running, biking, and scootering the trail, we went and did some “activities”. Some good, some bad, some badder…yikes! Don’t despair. We didn’t take any pictures.
Catch up here if you want, or just keep reading.
After we got home from the first exercise segment, we changed and went bowling! Kids Bowl Free! All summer courtesy of the bowling alley they had leagues at. So there’s the good, until…the snacks! Ugh! Fried appetizers and spinach dip with fried chips and soda! We ate it all. We bowled our games. We drove home feeling yucky and like we wasted a workout. The bad! Back to the trail!
It had rained/stormed while we were on our way to bowling, but now it was humid, sticky and buggy. We managed approximately, generously, to get about a mile of walking in until we headed back to the car and on to the badder!
Oh yeah. Baskin Robbins baby! We have to pass it to get home. So we obliterated the day with some scoops for our poops. And it was good!
But before I leave you with that sad tale of woe, check it out: Going back to the Forest Preserve got me Lucky Number 13 on the Challenger Posts!
Blue and Beautiful and Below:
Dodge Challenger. Lucky Number 13
In my favorite color.
I’ve seen one that was a deep, midnight blue, but I couldn’t get a picture.
This is nice too.
