Just a little devil before bed

November 3, 2011 at 11:15 pm (Day Quote, Day to Day, Holiday) (, , , , , , , )

Just a quick last post before I go to bed. I cannot stay up again until 3:30. I need sleep so I don’t kill myself driving my friend to the airport tomorrow. And more importantly when I’m driving myself home all alone.

We saw this altered car tag on the road somewhere last week and now here it is. I like this picture better than that cartoon witch and I wanted to leave my website with some good karma tonight. That way if anyone happens to click on my front page they’ll see a fairly cool image and think I’m all hip and stuff. And then the person who clicked it gets to be hip too just by association. It’s a public service I provide for free. Coolness for everyone!

I think I’m harboring a fairly nasty ear and sinus infection that has spread into my left jaw. It’s mainly at the joint and hurts mostly when I chew.  Thank goodness I can still open my big mouth and jabber the words away. Although I have to say it feels best when I just shut up. I am even considering a trip to the doctor but I’m holding judgement until morning. Besides it’s really a great way to drop a few of those unwanted pounds. Liquids and soft foods create the least amount of stress to my mandible. (Ding ding. Twenty dolla’ word up in this house. Holler.) I am hungry though. That pain med I took is probably kicking in and I need some rest.

May your glass be always full, and may your roof be always strong over your head, and may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows your dead. ~Irish toast

That was a little extra for all the ones who stay out way too late. Sleep sweet and good dreams.

    Don’t you macerate with mandibles?

HA! So close!! You MASTICATE!! However, as we age, we do macerate ( to soften substances, hopefully food, by soaking in water or adding in some kind of liquid). That;s why pudding and mashed potatoes are such a big hit with the over-80, toothless crowd! Trust me, I have SEEN macerated food and you do not want to go there. Keep your teeth! Everybody reading this, go make a dentist appointment right now!!

You guys lost me. Anywhoo, I love the modified Mazda (?) symbol! Too cool. I would totally do that if I owned a Mazda.

Hey sis…you have to read all my posts and the comments. Then it will make sense! Lorraine finally learned how to comment like a pro except that sometimes she comments on any post she feels like, even if it doesn’t have anything to do with what I actually wrote! Also, you have to start “liking” my posts. Gives me more blog cred. Ugh…those are two terrible words together! Blog cred. I’m making it my next post title! XO

Once you write about something that I like, I will “like” it for you! hee heeheeheeheee! Hey here’s something, the DMV finally came out with White Sox license plates!! ya Hooey!! You can bet your bottom dollar that I will eventually be sporting a set on the ol shaggin waggin!! Talk about THAT and I will “like” it!!!

But in this case I did not “comment on any post she feels like”! The post went from the altered car emblem to your ear infection and sore jaw bone which lead you to use the word mandible. And me in my pity for your pain made an awful attempt to show off my million dollar vocabulary (which is now only worth a hundred grand) with macerate.

I will admit that I have, on occasion, “commented on any post she feels like”. Not sure this “internet thing” will ever really take off! 🙂

        See ya later masticater!

For Amanda: You should just like everything. I am hilarious! Also, they have had those White Sox plates out for awhile. I’ve seen them on cars. You are so 2000 and LATE! Haha! Like THAT!! I shall now search and photograph a White Sox plate and post it just for you! Double like!

For Lorraine: Excellent comment! I love your word structure! Seriously, “me in my pity for your pain” is pure poetry. (See how I did that??) And I was thinking…masticater…but I didn’t want to say it!! We are so alike! It reminds me of a card we gave to my son for his B-day last year. He had just learned the word, “masturbate”, and more importantly, what it means. Then, as if from the gods, the gift of raunchy humor was bestowed upon us at the Target Superstore. On the front of the card is a man in a boat with a fishing pole putting a worm on the hook. The words say something like, “No fisherman has ever been better at putting worms on a hook than you!” Inside it said, “Happy Birthday to a Master Baiter”

For Amanda again…before you jump all down my throat…I saw that the Sox permanent plate isn’t coming out until Tuesday. I don’t know what I am seeing but I will find it and take its picture!! I take back the 2000 and Late comment. XO!

Take THAT Jack! Ha! Anyway, I don’t give a rat’s patootie about OTHER people’s license plates…I will only care about MINE when they are on MY car. My problem now is what to put on them??? I was thinking YESSSS for the phrase, You can put it on the Board, YES!!! When I do get them I will send you a pic for this here blog

  6. masnstevy said,

Thanks sissy! I always need good pics to post! But I think you better come up with something better than just Yesssssssss….I’m sure a thousand boring baseball people are already plotting and scheming on how to get the most perfect license plate ever. After you get the plate you should go get a tattoo. You are not a TRUE fan unless it is inked on your body FOREVER. Slacker!

    • Amanda a.k.a The Greatest Sister of All time! said,

Well I would put “I ❤ A.J" But they don't make hearts for license plates. What about "Suck it cubs fans" ?? too many letters, huh? Whats the limit on those things anyway?!

I got a GREAT idea…CMSKY or S SIDE or S SIDER Now if any of your followers steals my lisence plate idea, I will have to hunt them down and take care of them “south side style” !!!!! ahahahahaa Seriously though, aren’t those good!! I think I am most fond of the first one

    • Lorraine said,

did you know you can check out this IL website to see if the plate you want is taken?

      https://www.ilsos.gov/PickAPlateWeb/index1.html

      • Amanda a.k.a The Greatest Sister of All time! said,

Ooh, I did not…Thanks for the heads up!!

      • Amanda a.k.a The Greatest Sister of All time! said,

You know what, I was on that site, but I wasn’t sure what would happen after I typed in a plate. I just checked and of course CMSKY is unavailable. BUT, BLEVE is available…what do you guys think of that??

  8. masnstevy said,

That’s not bad. But I think that is a better plate for Cubs fans because the Sox have already won. Everyone keep thinking. It’s like an expensive tattoo. You don’t want to screw it up!

  9. Amanda a.k.a The Greatest Sister of All time! said,

well I was thinking because the whole “don’t stop believing” song theme they had going on. I am running out of ideas…may just have to go with a generic number plate. They do have SOX 37 available, but that doesn’t really mean anything…

    • Lorraine said,

Since the plate says Sox on the left of the plate….how about “WON IT”

It would read Sox Won IT. That is available….this a.m.

      • Amanda a.k.a The Greatest Sister of All time! said,

        love it!!! your the best!
