This is a Yahoo Post, by Lucy Danzinger of Self magazine. It has lots of words and extra links, so instead of trying to summarize, I thought I’d just steer you to it and you can judge for yourself.

I’m a big coffee drinker too. I drink it first thing in the morning and sometimes the last thing at night. I bring it to the gym with me. It may be sick, but I’m not alone.

Before any of the races I run I only drink coffee, no food. I figure it works for me every other day I’m not about to change right before I have to run for the public. I don’t want to be the barfer or the medically-treated.
